This course is conducted at Roy Hill's Drag Racing complex in Sophia, NC. The classrooms are located inside the same engine facilities, and taught by the same technicians that Roy relies on to maintain the engines for his IHRA Pro Stock Cars, NHRA Pro Stock Trucks and his successful drag racing school cars.

The instructors share with you their vast knowledge and experience and guide you through the engine blueprinting and assembly process. In our clean, well equipped shop, you will learn techniques on how to prepare blocks and heads, setting up critical clearances, how to degree a camshaft and computing compression ratio. you will also learn tricks on carburetion, ignition, oiling systems and more.

The course will conclude by spending a day working with a race engine on our Superflow dyno. We will apply what you have learned in areas such as cam, ignition, timing, and carburetion to show how critical to performance these components are, and to share with you a few more simple tricks to improve power.
